There is a peculiar fascination about watching someone or something in trouble. We do it in the car when an accident has occurred to others, we watch others when they trip and fall.

In this new book we take a look at the things that went wrong on the Southern and BR - plus a few from earlier years. Yes, sadly, some where there was personal tragedy, but in the main the major accidents are deliberately omitted to concentrate instead on the ones which you might have heard of but perhaps not seen illustrations of.

A fascinating look at a side of the railway they wish had not happened. Heavily illustrated.
